Service Terms

Matthias Landscaping Co. provides landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor living services in the Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and greater Cedar Valley area of Iowa. The following terms apply to our services:

  • Estimates: All estimates provided are based on information available at the time of assessment. Actual costs may vary if site conditions differ from what was observed during the estimate visit. Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
  • Scheduling: Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, and other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any significant schedule changes promptly.
  • Payment: Payment terms are outlined in each individual service agreement or contract. Failure to make payment in accordance with agreed-upon terms may result in suspension of services and additional collection costs.
  • Workmanship: We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms are provided in individual service agreements. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, third-party modifications, or natural disasters.
  • Site Access: By engaging our services, you grant our team access to the work area on your property during the agreed-upon project timeline. You are responsible for removing any personal items, obstacles, or hazards from the work area before the project start date.

SMS / Text Message Terms

Matthias Landscaping Co. may send SMS or text messages to customers and prospects who have opted in to receive them. By opting in, you agree to the following terms:

Transactional Messages

We may send text messages related to your service, including:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service scheduling updates
  • Project status notifications
  • Estimate follow-ups
  • Invoice and payment reminders

Marketing Messages

With your separate consent, we may send promotional text messages, including:

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent as needed based on your service interactions. Marketing messages will not exceed 10 per month.

Standard Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to all text messages sent and received. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan. Matthias Landscaping Co. is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
